ABOUT US

D.I.Y. Renewables was formed under the leadership of Titilope Fadipe, a Nigerian national who has an ambition for a cleaner energy future in Nigeria. The group was formed under the framework of Technology Entreneurship, a combination of an online class and a startup generator administered by Stanford University. Students from around the world joined the group in an effort to learn more about renewable energy, and explore the possibilities for biogas generation and the entrepreneurial possibilities of supplying a cheap and sustainable method for energy generation to an emerging market. The group is currently composed of six members from three continents.

D.I.Y. Renewables' focus is on developing biogas generation technology in a single, standalone biodigester product. This biodigester is intended to be cheap enough for the average Nigerian consumer to purchase with high confidence in quick return on their investment, as well as easy enough for the average consumer to quickly and easily integrate into their daily lives.

Through incisive research and thoughtful development, D.I.Y. Renewables hopes to play a small part in giving its customers freedom from outdated and harmful sources of energy such as kerosene and wood-derived fuel.
